Phoenix Police detectives are seeking information about a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old man Thursday night near 35th Avenue and Grand Avenue.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on August 10, 2023, at about 8:45 a.m., officers responded to an injured person call in the area of 35th Avenue and Grand Avenue. When officers got to the area, they found an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound and a second adult male suffering from serious injuries believed to be
caused from a car collision. Both victims were taken to the hospital for follow up care.
The victim who was stabbed did not survive his injures and the second man received non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives learned that the suspect, identified as a male had stabbed the victim, got into a car as a female driver drove away hitting the second victim.
