2 Traffic Stops In Cottonwood Net Over 125,000 Fentanyl Pills

Last week, Cottonwood Police arrested three people and seized over 125,000 fentanyl pills in two traffic stops.

According to the Cottonwood Police Department, K-9 units conducted interdiction operations on SR260 between Camp Verde and Cottonwood. During those interdiction operations, K-9 Officers conducted multiple traffic stops.

During two separate traffic stops on different days, officers seized a total of 29 lbs. of Fentanyl pills, and three subjects were arrested and booked into the Yavapai County jail for various narcotics trafficking charges.
