The victim in a deadly shooting that occurred over the weekend has been identified as 42-year-old David Phillips.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call outside a business near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road on October 7th. When
they arrived on the scene, they found Phillips with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital by the fire department where he later died from his injuries.
Later that evening, officers received information that three individuals called and reported they were involved in the shooting. They were detained and cooperated by speaking with investigators. They were later released pending the conclusion of the investigation.
