After being called to the area of 5th Street and Dunlap Avenue, Phoenix Police Department officers found a man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound with no suspects in sight.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on October 12, 2023, at about 12:30 a.m., officers responded to an injured person call for service in the area of 9200 North 5th Street. When officers came to the scene, they found 37-year-old Joseph Goree Jr. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
