A Mesa man, Jeremy Carson Lamb, was sentenced by United States District Judge Jennifer G. Zipps to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of Attempted Production of Child Pornography.

According to the Department of Justice, in late 2019, Lamb traveled from Phoenix to Sierra Vista to meet and engage in sexual conduct with a person he believed to be a 14-year-old minor and had attempted to obtain sexually explicit images of the minor. Lamb was found with a large quantity of videos and images depicting children as young as one-year-old being sexually abused.

The investigation confirmed that Lamb had distributed many child exploitation files to others. When Lamb is released from prison, he will be on supervised release for the remainder of his life and will be required to register as a sex offender.
