Phoenix Police detectives have booked a woman in jail for the murder after her husband is found dead in their west valley home.
On December 8, 2023, around 1:20 p.m., Phoenix police officers responded to a residence near 4700 North 39th Drive regarding an injured person. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, identified as 89-year-old Harold Hostetler, with serious injuries. Harold did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. Officers learned that Harold’s wife, identified as 52-year-old Lawanda Hostetler, left the residence prior to police arrival. As officers continued the scene investigation, Lawanda returned and was detained regarding the incident.
Lawanda was booked into jail for the murder of her husband Harold.
