Phoenix Detectives Looking For Hit-And-Run Suspect

Phoenix Police detectives are searching for a suspect after they left the scene of a collision that left one man dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on January 11, 2024, around 12:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 43rd Avenue and Dunlap Avenue regarding a collision that involved a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they located a pedestrian, identified as David Aguirre, with serious injuries. Mr. Aguirre was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased after he did not survive his injuries.

The vehicle involved in the collision took off from the scene prior to police arrival.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
