Barrett-Jackson Arizona’s Event Season To Start With High-Octane Scottsdale Auction

Barrett-Jackson Car Auctions is gearing up for the ultimate automotive lifestyle event to usher in Arizona’s 2024 event season with its annual Scottsdale Auction held January 20-28, 2024, at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

“The heartbeat of our Scottsdale Auction is, and always will be, the incredible collection of vehicles that cross our auction block throughout the week,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Our upcoming Scottsdale event is seeing extraordinary demand across the board with an unprecedented quality of consignments, and we’re anticipating a docket filled with exceptional collectibles every single day of the auction. In addition to the cars, Barrett-Jackson has grown into an annual destination where enthusiasts, industry titans and celebrities from around the world gather to celebrate this high-octane lifestyle.”

Headlined by Grammy Award-winning rock band Foreigner, Barrett-Jackson will kick off the excitement of its Scottsdale Auction with the “Rock the Block” concert presented by Arizona Lottery for the first time in its history on Friday, January 19. Following the concert, Barrett-Jackson’s opening weekend begins Saturday, January 20, with QuikTrip Family Day when children ages 12 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult. QuikTrip Family Day activities include STEM Fest presented by Honeywell, which features interactive STEM exhibits for children of all ages and will kick off Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the Future initiative, created in conjunction with the SciTech Institute. QuikTrip Family Day will also feature the introduction of all 50 contestants for the Barrett-Jackson Cup presented by Castrol – Barrett-Jackson’s coveted custom car and truck competition.

On Sunday, January 21, the Future Collector Car Show (FCCS) at WestWorld of Scottsdale presented by Meguiar’s will take place at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction on the Polo Field for the second consecutive year. This family-friendly concours-style event highlights vehicles that exemplify the future of the collector car hobby, celebrating both the cherished cars of today and the future collectibles of tomorrow.

Collectible vehicles and authentic automobilia will begin crossing the block on Monday, January 22, and continue through Sunday, January 28. Approximately 1,900 vehicles will go over the auction block including a matching-numbers 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Split-Window Coupe (Lot #1363) that is one of only 199 produced, and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 convertible (Lot #1370) with its original, matching-numbers 454/450hp V8 engine, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end.

The docket also features remarkable craftsmanship through its offerings from the booming Resto-Mod segment of the hobby like a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible (Lot #1367) built by Jeff Hayes Customs and a custom Hogan Built 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer (Lot #1352) powered by a Don Hardy supercharged 6.2-liter LS3 engine rated at over 900hp. A Bianco Fuji 2017 Ferrari F12 TDF (preview) powered by its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 also highlights some of the auction’s contemporary European offerings.
