Phoenix Police Detectives Seek Suspect In North Phoenix Shooting

Phoenix Police detectives are looking for a suspect involved in the fatal shooting of George Ramirez that happened in north Phoenix.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on January 18, 2024, just before 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a death investigation near 11000 North Black Canyon Access Road. Phoenix Fire employees responded and confirmed the victim’s death on scene. The identity of the 53-year-old Ramirez was confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office, as well as the fact that he suffered from a fatal gunshot wound.

Detectives are asking anyone with information is asked to call 480-WITNESS, 480-TESTIGO and provide critical information to detectives while staying anonymous.
