Phoenix Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Truck

Phoenix Police detectives were called out to investigate a deadly collision involving a motorcyclist and a truck Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers were called to a collision investigation at the intersection of 24th Street and Indian School Road. Officers arrived at the scene just after 1:00 p.m. on January 23, 2024, and found a man suffering from serious injuries related to the collision. Phoenix Fire responded and took the man identified as 31-year-old Alexander Thompson to the hospital where he did not survive his injuries.

Detectives believe that the motorcyclist was driving east on Indian School Road and collided with a truck making a left turn at 24th Street to go north. The adult male driver of the truck stayed on scene and showed no signs of intoxication.
