Arizona Guard Members Among Those Injured In Deadly Jordan Attack

On Sunday, Major General Kerry Muehlenbeck told KTAR News that Arizona National Guard members were among those injured in a drone attack in Jordan.

Three U.S. service members were killed and up to 34 more were wounded on January 28, after a one-way drone impacted an installation in northeast Jordan, according to U.S. Central Command.

According to KTAR, “about 350 National Guard members were on the ground in the area near where the drone attack occurred.

In accordance with Department of Defense policy, the identities of those killed in Sunday’s attack are being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notifications. It is currently unknown how many Arizona National Guard members were injured in the attack.
