Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Burned Body Found In Desert

On February 1, 2024, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to a deceased person located in the desert area east of Queen Valley. The victim, whose body was found burned in the desert east of the Valley, has been identified as 34-year-old Nicoleta Hamlett.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is working in close coordination with her family and is seeking the public’s assistance for any information related to Hamlett’s death or her last known whereabouts.

Hamlett is known to frequent areas within downtown Phoenix and Tempe.
