Phoenix police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred Monday morning that resulted in the death of a man in an apartment complex.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on February 19, 2024, around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a fight call at an apartment complex near 7th Street and Vogel Avenue. When officers arrived, they were directed to a man, on the ground in the apartment complex, suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was rushed to the hospital by the fire department where he died from his injuries. Officers searched for leads and learned the suspect/s left before police arrived.
Detectives are hoping anyone with information will call Phoenix police or Silent Witness, if they wish to remain anonymous.
