Three Arrested After Four People Stabbed At Scottsdale Bar

On Saturday, at approximately 1:00 am, Scottsdale police responded to a report of a stabbing at a bar.

According to the Scottsdale Police Department, officers were called to the Playa Bar near McDowell and Granite Reef Roads. Upon arrival, officers found four adults, two bar patrons and two security employees, with injuries.

All four were transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The suspect, 42-year-old Joseph D. Eschief, was arrested at the scene before being taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained. Once he is released, he will be booked into jail.

Two other people, 27-year-old Antonio N. Eschief and 46-year-old Selena Dewey, were arrested at the scene for fighting and disorderly conduct in connection with the stabbing.
