On Tuesday morning, Yavapai County Sheriff’s detectives along with Special Agents from Homeland Security, took 54-year-old Dominic Ebert from Santa Teresa, New Mexico, into custody at the Motel 6 in Prescott for luring an underage girl into a sexual encounter.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, for the past week, Ebert is suspected to have sent several sexually explicit audio files along with photos of himself to an underage female, as well as set up a time and place to meet with her for a sexual encounter. Detectives became aware that the suspect had been in contact for over a week and had been informed several times he was asking for an underage girl.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s alleges that Ebert said he was not only aware, but that he sought out the female specifically because of her age.

Detectives verified Ebert made reservations for the Prescott Motel 6 for the purposes of meeting with the underage female, and were waiting for him when the suspect when attempted to check in. He was taken into custody at the front desk area without incident or disturbance to the residents in Motel 6.

During the investigative phase of this case, it was found Ebert had previously been charged and convicted of the same type crimes.

Ebert was booked into Yavapai County Jail and charged with Luring of a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, Aggravated Luring of a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, and Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

Gee, I wonder what happened to his face. Actually, I don’t care.

    • Probably in charge of “child safety”. Hobbs would choose him to be in charge of hiring all the school coaches.
