On Friday, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee held a field hearing in Sahuarita to examine the effects of the current southwest border crisis on Arizona’s residents and communities.

The hearing, “The Biden Border Crisis: Arizona Perspectives,” featured testimony from:

  • Jim Chilton, Rancher in Arivaca, Arizona
  • Jacob Kartchner, Retired Cochise County sheriff’s deputy; 5th generation Arizona rancher
  • Jill Fagan Alexander, Mother of fentanyl poisoning victim
