Phoenix Police Seeking Suspect In Deadly West Valley Shooting

Phoenix Police detectives are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a west valley shooting that left a man dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., William White was walking behind a business complex in the area of 4700 West Brill Street when the suspect approached him on a white bicycle. The suspect produced a handgun and shot William, killing him.

The suspect fled the scene on the bicycle northbound on 47th avenue and was last seen in the area of 48th Avenue and McDowell Road. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Native American male, approximately 30-40 years old, with a medium build and possibly dark colored hair.
