Three Arrested For Walmart Burglary In Sahuarita

On Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, officers from the Sahuarita Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at the Walmart located at I-19 and Duval Mine Road. Initial information indicated that multiple suspects had forced open a locked door and entered the store during late evening hours.

While inside, they gathered multiple items, removed them from the store, and loaded them into a waiting vehicle.

Sahuarita Police Department (SPD) detectives conducted follow-up investigation, and through various investigative measures, identified the three suspects as Gesse La Bistre (48), Jeffery Wayne Cox (32) and Linda Marie Ochoa (38). A search warrant was executed at a residence within the town limits of Sahuarita and a second search warrant was served at a home located within Pima County. Several stolen items were recovered during both search warrants, along with burglary tools, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

The three suspects were located and booked into the Pima County Jail on various charges including Organized Retail Theft, Burglary, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Shoplifting, Possession of Burglary Tools, Trafficking in Stolen Property and Weapons Misconduct.
