Maricopa County School Superintendent Steve Watson is encouraging Maricopa County voters to take advantage of two additional resources as they complete their ballots for the November 5 election.
“Now that all the early ballots have been mailed, we should all take our responsibility seriously to do some research before deciding how to vote on these local issues,” said Watson. “That’s why we have a visualization dashboard on our website to help voters understand the location of districts and the amounts of the bonds and overrides up for voter approval.”

Watson’s office also hosts a website with information about all 228 candidates for school board positions throughout Maricopa County.
“School board races are some of the most local contests voters will see on their ballots, and we have information on our site that has been submitted by each candidate,” Watson said. “School board races don’t receive as much attention as they should, but they are vital local leadership positions and we hope the information being provided helps voters make their choices.”
