Man Arrested For Drive-By Shooting In Yuma

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, at approximately 11:49 PM, a Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed shots being fired from a vehicle in the area of S. Avenue B and W. 1st Street.

While patrolling the area, a deputy observed multiple shots fired from a vehicle traveling eastbound on W. 1st Street. The deputy immediately stopped the suspect vehicle.

During the initial investigation, deputies located an AR15 rifle along with multiple spent casings in the vehicle. The location of the incident consisted of multiple occupied residences and vehicles traveling on the roadway at the time the suspect was shooting out of the vehicle window.

No injuries or damaged structures were reported.

The suspect, Marc Anthony Northcutt, 20, of Yuma, AZ, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on 2 counts of Endangerment, Drive-by Shooting, Disorderly Conduct involving Weapons, and Unlawful Discharge of Firearms.
