Since Black Friday after Thanksgiving when the holiday shopping season starts, two weekends in a row, I have been talking to the small business owners throughout the valley from Glendale, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, to Gilbert. Only one out of ten had a reasonably good sale but still far worse than last year in the same time frame.
A vendor in Mesa, identified as K to protect his identity, complained to me that he had made no money this year and kept burning money out of his pocket. He told me that he had two friends who had just closed their businesses. But, for him, he wouldn’t easily give up. As long as he could break even the whole year, and even if he made no money, he would stay in the business, hoping for a better opportunity next year when he told me he had voted for Trump. Currently, he has 25 full or part-time employees.
Another vendor in Phoenix, identified as B, expanded his business earlier this year, but since the summer, he has been stuck losing money when the business goes so slow. Every month, he had to pay $2000 for the site fee. He told me that on the weekend after Black Friday, he had only made $800 and after paying the costs and fees, he earned no money at all. All other vendors shared the same negative sentiments, “the business is slow.”
However, The White House still shamelessly posted from its basement on December 3, 2024:
“As we head into the holiday season, gas prices are at their lowest point in more than three years – putting money back in the pockets of American families.”
And on December 10, 2024, it posted:
“After decades of trickle-down economics that primarily benefitted [sic] those at the very top, President Biden wrote a new playbook that’s growing the economy from the middle-out and bottom-up to benefit everyone.”
When the price for a dozen eggs jumps up to $4.49, roast beef to $7.99/lbs, and the gas price is at $3.29/gal, which is $1 or more than 40% higher than pre-COVID19, the effects of Bidenomics and inflation remain causing unsustainable financial burdens to many American families.
When hearing the politicians on the campaign trails talking about beautiful policies and caring about the American people, just need to ask them whether they have ever talked to the small business owners who are on the front line of the economic climate connecting to the buying power from the local residents. The Biden regime has shown no clue of the reality of what the American people have been undergoing in the last four years after he stole the presidential election.
Since the Democrats dare to steal the election, they will steal American people’s pockets. “Election has consequences,” per Barack Obama, stealing the money, indirectly through taxes or inflations, is one of the consequences that oftentimes voters forget when they routinely listen to CNN, MSNBC, The View, etc., the legacy media outlets that have been bought and controlled by the Democratic Party as partisan mouthpieces.
After suffering eight years of Obama’s presidency, those who voted for Biden and those who helped steal the election by creating the Biden Curve have helped repeat the suffering for four more years for the American people.
The economic climate change to some is warm and comfortable, but to more American people, it has been freezing cold in the past four years.
Fortunately, the Trump spring is right around the corner, to Make America Great Again.
“Low gas prices putting money back into the pockets of American families?” BWAHAHAHAHAHA… I guess some nitwits will BELIEVE that. Who the hell raised those prices to start with? During Owebama’s time in (physically, not as a ghost the past 4 years) his admin was trying to jack prices up to $5/gal nationwide. Buydung almost did it during Owebama’s ghost years (i.e. the last 4.) Now they want credit for LOWER (but not lowest) prices?
Trump believes that!
spoke with IRS ombudsman
said he has no sympathy for business owners when they don’t pay worker withholding
if you can’t afford the taxes then you can’t afford the worker either
go out of business and stiff landlord
but if you insist on going broke – your choice
It is well past time to disband the IRS – history will rightly remember it as the American Gestapo.
TRUMP Spring – will they offset the ‘low prices paid by CMS /Medicare’ to contractors. The amounts paid were dropped to pre- PHE levels – after being at Rural Rates during PHE, this amounts to 20% reduction – PHE induced inflation did not reduce – as noted food, gas, equipment of all types remains at PHE inflated rates and remains. So those getting services from the Medicare system – may see a reduction in services.. the suppliers cannot give away the product. There is an ‘Emergency Measure” now in congress to return to the PHE rates to fix is urgent problem. Theings like ‘Oxygen – Wheelchairs etc. ‘ are directly effected – so lets see what happens ‘ time is running out ‘ are the “D”s vindictive in this regard. Appears so… time will tell as the session closed December 22nd.
