Independence Day Celebration

Anthem’s Independence Day celebration will feature water slides, a beer garden, petting zoo, DJ, entertainers like stilt walkers and jugglers, a glitter tattoo station and a fireworks display, weather permitting on July 3. Free. onlineatanthem.com/events.

July 4
Independence Day celebrations

Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center/Superstition Shadows Park

The city’s Independence Day celebration will feature a volleyball tournament at the Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center at 7:15 a.m. and open swim from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The main event starts at 6 p.m. at Superstition Shadows Park, featuring live music, game booths, activities for kids and a bicycle, wagon and tricycle float contest with judging at 6:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the fireworks display will happen at 8:30 p.m. Free. 480-983-2181, apachejunctionaz.gov.

Event will feature live entertainment, tailgating, parking and food trucks. The VIP option includes a DJ, private patio for games and fireworks viewing and gourmet food. 4th of July Coaster Races, Parade, Drilling & Mucking Competition & Fireworks

The 2024 Bisbee Coaster Races are on Warren Road between Arizona Street and AZ-80, and begin at 8 am.
The 2024 4th of July Parade is on Cole Ave in Warren starting at 11 am.
For over a century, Bisbee has celebrated the 4th of July with parades, sporting contests, patriotic events, dances, picnics, and fireworks. The Bisbee Coaster Races are on Warren Road between Arizona Street and AZ-80, and begin at 8 am. The 4th of July Parade is on Cole Ave in Warren starting at 11 am. The Drilling & Mucking Competition begins at noon on Brewery Ave. in The Gulch. The 4th of July fireworks start at dusk in Warren, boasting good neighborhood viewing.

  1. This holiday is not to celebrate a date on the calendar and a long weekend. It is to celebrate the courage of the founders of this nation to take extreme risks to secure the liberties that sadly, most of our generation take for granted. Let’s give this day the solemn respect it deserves, by calling it what it is, Independence Day, and stop disregarding its solemn meaning with the misnomer, “4th of July.” The words we choose matter.
