A woman has been arrested by Buckeye Police officers after she found herself teetering on the edge.

According to the Buckeye Police Department, just after 7 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash near Sunrise and Verrado Way. When officers arrived, they found a small SUV teetering on a brick wall facing Verrado Way. Officers contacted the adult female driver, and during the investigation, it was determined she had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .235.

The women was arrested for Extreme DUI.

In Arizona, it is against the law to drive with a BAC of .08 or higher. However, if an impaired driver is found to be under the legal limit, they can still face a charge for impairment to the slightest degree.
