Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating an overnight shooting that claimed the life of a man and left a woman in the hospital.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on January 29, 2025, around 11:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of 8th Street and Bell Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male and an adult female with at least one gunshot wound each. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries determined to be non-life threatening. The man was also transported to a nearby hospital where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480 (WITNESS) or 480 (TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
