Overnight Shooting Leaves Man Dead, Three Others Hospitalized In Phoenix

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating west valley shooting that claimed the life of a man and left three others in the hospital.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on March 21, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 4100 North Black Canyon Access Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, identified as 25-year-old Tyson Harris, with at least one gunshot wound. Harris was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased. As officers conducted the initial investigation, they located a second adult male, near the original scene, with a gunshot wound. This man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As detectives were conducting the scene investigation, the Mesa Police Department came in contact with an adult male and adult female within their city. Both the man and woman had gunshot wounds, and both were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. During this contact, it was learned that these two were also involved in the shooting being investigated by Phoenix Police detectives.
