On Monday, in a move that was widely expected, President Donald Trump endorsed Congressman Andy Biggs in the Arizona Governor’s race. Trump had previously endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson, who lost the 2022 primary to Kari Lake.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump explained that he hadn’t expected Biggs to run when he endorsed Robson, and that he was happy to endorse both candidates.
“I like Karrin Taylor Robson of Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to Endorse her, with nobody else running, I Endorsed her, and was happy to do so,” wrote Trump. “When Andy Biggs decided to run for Governor, quite unexpectedly, I had a problem. Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH. Either one will never let you down.”
Attempting to put a happy face on the development, Robson claimed on X.com that the President “reaffirmed what he told me in December when he urged me to run on stage: That he supports me & has fully endorsed my Arizona First campaign.” but there is no question that the joint endorsement is a blow to Robson’s campaign. Most agree she had a better than even chance of winning the 2022 primary had Trump not endorsed Lake, and Trump’s endorsement early in the cycle was a real boost to her chances.
THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT!
Today, @realDonaldTrump reaffirmed what he told me in December when he urged me to run on stage: That he supports me & has fully endorsed my Arizona First campaign.
I cannot wait to be on the 9th floor as a partner to his America First agenda. Onward! pic.twitter.com/D1EkSkmlGL

Now, some political operatives are suggesting that Biggs, who is very popular among the Republicans grassroots, and who has never lost a race, reach out to Taylor Robson and offer her the Lieutenant Governor position to secure a win.
“You don’t have to be politically savvy to understand that – contrary to popular belief, President Trump is a gentleman. He didn’t embarrass Taylor Robson and her monied supporters, instead he praised her while putting her in her place,” said one campaign expert. “She can try to pretend that she still has the full-throated endorsement of President Trump, and use her money to try and convince the voters that she is his top choice, but this is a game changer for her and Biggs.”
“Running on a ticket with Biggs would give her an easy win and set her up for the future, while helping Biggs to raise the war chest he desperately needs,” the consultant concluded.
However, those close to Robson question whether or not any such arrangement would work or be attractive to her. “Biggs still needs to raise the money needed to get his message out, so I’d be shocked if anyone blinked this far out from the primary.” offered one Robson booster.
The primary will be in August of 2026.
Of course Biggs would be best. If he were *allowed* to win.
Let’s not forget, we have -selections- here in AZ, *not* elections.
The occupant of the Gov office was not elected.
One article I read described her as coming from, “the McCain/Ducey branch of the AZ GOP”. Yeah, no. I’m not voting for anyone even remotely associated with McCain. Besides, I already like Biggs, so that’s two strikes and if the AZGOP turns its back on Biggs for Robson, that’s three strikes and I’ll just sit this one out; when the end results are a wash, best to bite the bullet and let the party know that _their_ candidates are not good enough, we want _our_ candidates.
Biggs is getting my vote, endorsement or not.
I will be donating TODAY to the only real choice for AMERICA FIRST! Andy Biggs!!! Who’s with me! Let’s get behind a real winner!
BIGGS! BIGGS ! BIGGS !
Biggs has huge support from the voters. Let’s hope that cooler heads prevail here. Don’t need another second of a Demonrat administration! I would likely stay home if Robinson or Lake were my only choices again.
Traitor Teresa Martinez I’m sure is triggered. That woman needs a primary. We need to purge these RINOS!!
This is cope from Team Robson.
She sucks and she’s going to lose.
