Ansari Denied Chance to Meet with Criminal Illegal Alien Deported to His Home Country

Ansari addressed followers on X.com after her "productive day here in El Salvador advocating for Kilmar Abrego Garcia."

On Tuesday, Rep. Yassamin Ansari made the media circuit upon her return after her unsuccessful attempt to meet with an illegal alien from El Salvador, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Garcia was deported to his home country by the Trump administration after two separate courts found him to be in violation of the law.

Ansari joined Reps. Robert Garcia of California, Maxwell Frost of Florida, and Maxine Dexter of Oregon on the unsuccessful photo op, described by the White House as an “apology tour” on behalf of criminal gang members.

According to Cronkite News, “Salvadoran authorities denied their request to meet with Abrego Garcia and the U.S. lawmakers returned without being able to determine where he was being held. The lawmakers did meet with his wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura – an American citizen – and lawyers.”

“If we don’t have due process, we have nothing,” Ansari told Cronkite News at a press conference at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport when she returned Tuesday.

Later, in an interview on FOX News with Laura Ingraham, when asked what due process is owed to MS-13 gang members, Ansari did not answer. When asked if she would support the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia if he were to be adjudicated in the US again, Ansari indicated she would still object.

Polling shows that Ansari and her fellow Democrats are out-of-step with voters on the subject of the deportation of illegal aliens. According to CNN, 56 percent of Americans favor deporting all illegal aliens, up nearly 20 percent since 2016.

On April 18, the Department of Homeland Security released a Homeland Security Investigations’ Combined Intelligence Unit (CIU) Investigative Referral report on Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The report details the traffic stop encounter that led law enforcement officers to suspect Abrego Garcia of involvement in human trafficking. The documents also reveal that law enforcement confirmed Abrego Garcia to be a Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.

On Dec. 1, 2022, Abrego Garcia was stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for speeding. Upon approach to the vehicle, the encountering officer noted eight other individuals in the vehicle. There was no luggage in the vehicle, leading the encountering officer to suspect this was a human trafficking incident. Additionally, all the passengers gave the same home address as the subject’s home address. During the interview, Abrego Garcia pretended to speak less English than he was capable of and attempted to put the encountering officer off-track by responding to questions with questions. When asked what relationship he had with the registered owner of the vehicle, Abrego Garcia replied that the owner of the vehicle is his boss, and that he worked in construction.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a MS-13 gang member, illegal alien from El Salvador, and suspected human trafficker. The facts reveal he was pulled over with eight individuals in a car on an admitted three-day journey from Texas to Maryland with no luggage,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “The facts speak for themselves, and they reek of human trafficking. The media’s sympathetic narrative about this criminal illegal gang member has completely fallen apart. We hear far too much about the gang members and criminals’ false sob stories and not enough about their victims.”

The encountering officer decided not to cite the subject for driving infractions but gave him a warning citation for driving with an expired driver’s license. Abrego Garcia’s driver’s license was a MD “Limited Term Temporary” license. The encountering officer gathered names of other occupants in the vehicle but could not read their handwriting. The officer did not pursue further information due to no citation being issued.

In 2019, the Prince Georges County Police Gang Unit validated Abrego Garcia as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) Gang.

And that’s why these clowns are practically beyond parody; they stand for nothing, they abide by nothing, their outrage is performative and therefore worth nothing.

  4. I don’t think they realize that they re hurting this guy. The more attention he gets the more violent everyone is towards him, from the other prisoners to the guards. I’m sure he wishes they would lay off him. That’s just how prisons are and especially there in El Salvador. His wife doesn’t care as she is being paid by the Dems so she plays the part.

  5. There are approximately 300,000 more registered Republican voters in Arizona than there are Democrats. There is no other explanation for Democrats controlling key political positions in this state other than the fact that Republicans don’t have the same fervor in getting out to vote than Democrats do. This just blows my mind!

  6. Why did our elected official feel it necessary to waste tax payer monies in support of a violent illegal alien who was twice given due process in immigration court and issued a deportation order? Virtue signaling by elected officials is unprofessional and indicates that these “representatives” are only representing a small radical base of their voters. How about ALL of our Congressional elected officials represent ALL state legal citizens instead of only representing a minor constituency. I do not believe our tax payer funds should be used for PR junkets by radical politicians supporting violent illegal terrorists.

  7. Two judges ruled for deportation. What part of due process do you not understand? Only a democrap can call something productive when it is mission failure.

  8. Wealthy Iranian carpetbagger from Hollywood, come to ‘instruct’ the poor & benighted in Arizona. Figures the place is “easy pickins”; all you need to know.

  9. You can’t hate democrats nearly enough. Everything and I mean everything for illegals and let the citizens of this country pay for them. I call BS on them and their ILLEGALS. Hope that the democrat party crashes and burns for their disrespect of this country and its citizens. They so richly deserve it. Ansari should be shown the door next year but AZ is becoming more blue because of the idiots that have moved here to escape the democrat idiots in California.

  10. Rep. Yassamin Ansari as American as ‘camel stew’ her goals seem to be the seeking the demise of the United States. NO THANKS
