The Arizona Daily Independent reached out to local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and community leaders across the state to gather nominations for our 2025 30 Under 30 list. After receiving 2,137 nominations, a selection committee carefully reviewed each submission, evaluating candidates based on their leadership, innovation, service, and measurable impact.
The individuals chosen stood out not only for their impressive accomplishments at a young age, but also for their unwavering commitment to bettering their communities, industries, and the state of Arizona. 1. Recker Eans, 14
Recker Eans, a 14-year-old musician from Gilbert, Arizona, is making waves in the music industry. He earned his first Grammy nomination for Best Children’s Album for his work on Solid Rock Revival with the Rock for Children Band. As a drummer and composer, Recker has collaborated with renowned artists like Alice Cooper and Rob Halford. His talents extend beyond music; he’s also an Emmy-nominated actor and has appeared on The Kids Tonight Show. Recker’s dedication to his craft and impressive achievements at such a young age highlight his status as a rising star in Arizona’s vibrant music scene.
