Phoenix Police detectives investigating multiple related armed robberies have arrested two men in connection with the violent crimes.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on April 29, 2025, around 8:30 p.m., multiple male suspects entered a business in the area of 20th Avenue and Thunderbird Road and committed a takedown style armed robbery. During this incident, one suspect was armed and the other collected property as part of the robbery. The suspects left the area before police arrival.

An hour later, around 9:30 p.m., the same suspects entered a business in the area of Grovers Avenue and Cave Creek Road and committed another takedown style armed robbery. Again, one suspect was armed with a handgun and the other collected property as part of this robbery. The suspects left before police arrival.

Robbery detectives determined that the two armed robberies were clearly related and committed by the same suspects, so they began looking into all avenues of follow-up. Through multiple investigative techniques, two suspects were identified as 32-year-old Osvaldo Campa and 30-year-old Pablo Escobar Castillo.

On May 6, 2025, both suspects were located and arrested. Through interviews, both admitted to their involvement in the two armed robberies and both suspects have been booked on multiple charges related to the two investigations.

  1. I just love it. No mention of immigration status…..wonder why not even for ADI this is bad reporting. The powers that be still don’t want you to believe ILLEGALS commit crimes and sometimes very violent crimes. It just simply doesn’t fit their narrative.
