Two Women Found Dead In Phoenix Apartment Identified

Phoenix Police have identified two women who were found dead in a Phoenix apartment east of downtown on Thursday morning.

The victims have been identified as 38-year-old Tiwayla Spencer, and 36-year-old Marquisha Williams.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, at about 9:00 a.m. on June 26, 2025, an employee for the apartment complex located at 1333 North 24th Street called into 9-1-1 requesting a check welfare on the occupants who were not seen or heard from for several days. When officers got to the scene, the employee opened the apartment and allowed officers inside. The two women were found deceased inside with apparent gunshot wounds.
