Phoenix Police detectives are investigating the shooting death of 17-year-old male that occurred in north Phoenix.
On October 14, 2025, at around 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of 12th Street and Bell Road regarding a shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they located Marki Terril Anthony suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Marki to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation and process the scene. Detectives located a shooting scene and canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance video.
The Office of the Medical Examiner responded and took custody of Marki’s remains, results are pending a postmortem examination.
