A social media influencer, Brett Carlin, has been indicted for driving recklessly on Valley roads and baiting law enforcement into pursuits.
A grand jury indicted the 27-year-old Carlin on two counts of unlawful flight from law enforcement and two counts of reckless driving.
Carlin posted videos on social media of himself on a motorcycle driving at excessive speeds and fleeing from officers and troopers. During one pursuit, he drove more than 180 miles per hour while weaving through traffic on the Loop 101.
A court commissioner set a $20,000 secured appearance bond, which means the defendant typically must pay 10% of the total amount in cash and post the rest in collateral to be released from custody.

Brett Carlin, if guilty, clearly has no respect for the law or the safety of other drivers. He even uploaded a video to the net that is most likely going to be introduced as evidence at his trial, if there is a trial. I think he is going to regret that action even if he doesn’t learn to respect the law and the safety of others on the road.
