Stephen Paul Seth Ferreira has been sentenced in connection with a sexual abuse case involving a minor in Bisbee.
An investigation of Ferreira began after the victim reported the abuse to a parent, who immediately contacted law enforcement.
According to the Cochise County Attorney’s Office, during the investigation, Ferreira admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing his 12-year-old stepdaughter. Further investigation revealed digital material that a friend of his step-daughter was also sexually abused. Evidence collected during the case supported these admissions and led to multiple felony charges.
On January 7, 2026, Ferreira was sentenced to two consecutive 15-year prison terms for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, one 15-year sentence for each of the two 12-year-old victims, totaling 30 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections.
