Homicide detectives have made an arrest in the 2024 investigation involving 21-year-old Margaret Williams whose death was ruled a homicide.
On December 31st, 2025, 20-year-old Jayden Frost was extradited to Arizona, and booked into Jail for the murder of Williams.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 7th, 2024, patrol officers responded to a death investigation after the body of Williams was found in the baseball fields near 40th Street and Ray Road. Phoenix Fire personal had responded to the area and confirmed Williams death. Detectives responded and completed a death investigation after no obvious signs of trauma were noticed. County Medical Examiner’s Office responded and took over custody of Williams.
Findings were later released from the Medical Examiner’s Office ruling the death to be a homicide.
