Tempe Police department officials have confirmed that he body found at a Tempe construction site last week is that of an elderly man who went missing earlier this month.
Tempe Police officers had been look for missing 91-year-old Apolonio Romero. He was last seen alive around 6 p.m. on January 2, near Scottsdale and Curry roads.
The construction site where his body was found is located approximately 1.2 miles from where he was last seen.
