Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding with Vehicle

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a motorcyclist.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at approximately 9:24 PM, a report was received of a vehicle versus motorcycle collision in the area of County 14th Street and Avenue B.

The initial investigation revealed a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe was traveling northbound on Avenue B when it collided with the rear of a 2014 Honda CR-V it was traveling behind.

The driver of the Harley-Davidson was ejected onto the roadway.

Rural Metro Fire responded and both drivers were transported to Onvida Health. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries. The operator of the Harley-Davidson, Abraham Corral, 34, was transported in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.

Speed may have been a factor in the collision.

  1. Tragic. As a rider myself, I wish there were a better plan to promote safe riding, rider education, and motorcycle-awareness without resorting to European-style graduated motor vehicle licenses.
