Phoenix Police Department detectives have arrested 43-year-old Norman Sanders in the murder of Kevin Mitchell.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on November 14, 2025, at around 6:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 27th Avenue and Alice Avenue regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they found the 45-year-old Mitchell, with at least one gunshot wound. Mitchell was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Sanders was booked on multiple charges including murder and weapons violations.
