Ahead of the historic vote on the SAVE America Act on Wednesday, Congressman Abe Hamadeh hosted the Republican Study Committee’s (RSC) Election Integrity Roundtable featuring conservative activist Scott Presler and election integrity expert Cleta Mitchell.
Probably the most important speech I’ve given of my life.
With 50+ Members of Congress in attendance, I asked them for bold, courageous leadership.
It’s time to pass the SAVE America Act.
Thank you to the @RepublicanStudy for having me.
Truly the honor of a lifetime. pic.twitter.com/gFqN4Maoew

The widely popular and common-sense SAVE America Act requires proof of citizenship to register to vote in elections and the presentation of an ID to cast a ballot.
Congressman Hamadeh was joined by Representatives Bryan Steil, Ben Cline (VA-06), Eric Burlison (MO-07), Mike Rulli (OH-06), John Rose (TN-06), Celeste Maloy (UT-04), Mary Miller (IL-15), and Beth Van Duyne.
“Election integrity never disenfranchised a single soul, but a single act of election fraud disenfranchises us all. That is why America’s elections must be secure, and all voters should be American citizens,” said Congressman Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08). “The SAVE America Act is supported by 80 percent of Americans across racial lines. The American people are clear: they support Voter ID. Let me be clear: election security is national security.”
Scott Presler is a leading conservative activist, responsible for registering tens of thousands of voters. In January of 2023, Scott launched Early Vote Action. Scott is credited for playing a critical role in delivering votes for President Trump.
Cleta Mitchell is an attorney who has practiced in the fields of campaign finance and election law for many years. She is presently the Senior Legal Fellow at the Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington, DC and founded the Election Integrity Network in 2021. She is the co-convenor of the Only Citizens Vote Coalition which is focused on the threats to America’s elections posed by illegals and other noncitizens registering and voting in our elections.
Known as the “Abe Firewall,” Hamadeh has introduced legislation to form an interconnected framework to close loopholes, codify President Trump’s protections, and restore American confidence in our elections, and he says he is just getting started.
