Motorcyclist Killed on Phoenix Street

A 36-year-old man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 5:11 p.m., officers responded to the area of 7th Avenue and Elwood Street regarding a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as Justin M. Jacobs, in critical condition. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced Justin deceased.

Detectives believe that Justin failed to control the motorcycle he was driving and collided with the sidewalk on the east side of the road.
