On February 26, 2026, following an extensive investigation, Phoenix Police detectives located and arrested 33-year-old Anthony Bracy in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in January.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on January 16, 2026, at around 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 25th Avenue and Hazelwood Street regarding a shots fired call. When officers arrived, they found an adult male, identified as 44-year-old Steven Stone Jr., with at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he did not survive his injuries was pronounced deceased.
Bracy was booked into Maricopa County Jail on charges related to the case.
