A bicyclist is dead after he was struck by a vehicle in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 1:14 a.m., on February 28, 2026, officers responded to the area of 35th Avenue and El Caminito Drive regarding a collision involving a pedestrian on a bicycle. When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult male, later identified as Richard D. Miller, in critical condition.
The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Richard to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. On March 7, 2026, Richard was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene.
