Tucson & PimaCo’s Flaky Leaders Expunge Cesar Chavez; Can Raul Grijalva Be Far Behind?

GRIJALVA SHOULD BE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD

GRIJALVA HAD REAL POWER & CLOUT, PISSED ‘EM BOTH AWAY.

In today’s world of instant communications, and instant historical veracity, there’s nothing quite as revealing as the consistent, mass hypocrisy & perfectionism of today’s Idiot-Hard-Left.  It’s right out of the Piscean playbook.

Case in point: the doo-doo brains who’ve been allowed to control …and run Tucson into the ditch since the Cold War’s end, are all scrambling to reconstruct their Stalinist narrative about one of the heroes of the revolution, the sainted farmworker and labor organizer, Cesar Chavez.  His presence, persona, and reminders are now being dutifully expunged by local government.

Turns out ‘ol Cesar was as human and earthy as every other normal man of that day & age, and did stuff that doesn’t comport with the utter feminist perfectionism, of today’s Hard-Left, Soviet-style, idol worship.  I’m not going to detail all the things he supposedly did, and how absolutely awful-terrible-unacceptable, etc. they are, largely viewed thru the lens of lazy-ass historic revisionism.  The comparisons here are what I’m after.

Hell, Thomas Jefferson liked to engage in extramarital interracial sex, as did Martin Luther King, with the latter being sought out by wealthy liberal socialites in the 1960s after he got nationally famous.  And then there’s the Trump-Carroll supposed rape-romp in the dressing room at NYC’s posh Bergdorf-Goodman (only reported 23 years later).  My instincts tell me both King & Trump were stalked by modern day cougars, except in Trump’s case, Jean Carroll is a genuine psycho, who monetized the whole thing.

Getting back to present day, it’s probably more instructive to look beyond Cesar Chavez’s sins-of-the-flesh, and ask …What about our local el hefe, and recent departee for the Pearly Gates …Raul Grijalva?

Grijalva, who served 11+ terms in the House, a powerful, full committee chairman, was not a perfect gentleman, neither in the Anglo world-view, nor in the classic Castillan-Andalusian fashion.   His flawed personal life is legendary.  But one has to ask, given the ludicrous perfectionism of today’s Hard-Left, how soon will they go after Raul, given all his political & personal peccadilloes?

If anything …and you know it’ll never happen, I have to ask: why focus on this National Enquirer-level, personal crap?  Jefferson, King, and yes even Chavez, did seriously great and good things.  And while the jury’s still out on Trump, it’s certainly not on the late Congressman from CD#7 in SE Arizona.

Raul Grijalva, despite all his seniority, power, and clout never “brought home the (real) bacon” to his poor district.  He gave them peanuts; his sycophants, apologists, and propagandists in Tucson’s notorious gaslighting media claimed it was sirloin. Those facts are established; but you’re still poor, your schools still bad and your bright kids still leave for better jobs elsewhere, you’re still the frequent crime victims, you still have no political or economic power in larger incorporated cities you could run yourselves, etc. etc. etc.   Suck it up, Peons.

So basically, my question for the largely Latino population of Grijalva’s SE Arizona; do you want to keep eating peanuts or sirloin?
