Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating the death of a man at an apartment in the area of 13602 North 44th Street.
On Saturday just before 4:30 a.m., Phoenix police officers responded to a call about the shooting of Thomas Jackson, who was found suffering a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene, and his brother, Dominique Jackson was detained for questioning.
Detectives learned that Dominique Jackson was manipulating a gun and it discharged striking Thomas Jackson. Based on the findings during the investigation, Dominque Jackson was booked into jail.
