Phoenix police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at a central Phoenix gas station on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers were called out around 4:40 p.m. to a Chevron at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in response to a shooting.
When officer arrived, they found a worker shot. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The gunman left the store before officers arrived.
Officers learned the suspect walked away from the Chevron before shooting himself. He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injury.
