A young child is dead from drowning at Phoenix hotel pool.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on May 6, 2023, around 12:00 p.m., officers responded to a drowning call located at a
hotel near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Happy Valley Road. When officers arrived, the Phoenix Fire Department was already on scene and had begun to treat a young child who was found unresponsive in the hotel pool.
The child was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are conducting an investigation.
