Phoenix Police Department detectives have arrested a man in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Desiree Serpas.
Dominique Jackson, age 40, was located and arrested on July 22. He was booked into jail on one count of murder.
A woman is dead, after she was shot overnight in a downtown phoenix hotel.
On July 5, 2024, around 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at a Downtown Phoenix Hotel located near 100 North 1st Street. Upon arrival, they located the victim in the hotel room, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The fire department responded and pronounced Serpas deceased.
