The National Park Service is actively searching for a missing person last seen at Grand Canyon National Park.
According to the National Park Service, on December 10, 2024, Martha Overholser, was last seen at Mather Point on the South Rim and later failed to return on a commercial bus tour. Martha Overholser, age 66, is believed to have walked west from the Mather Point area, possibly towards the Bright Angel Lodge or Hermits Rest.
Overholser is described as a white female, 5’2” in height and 110 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long off-white coat, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and navy-blue bag.
