Phoenix Police Department detectives are processing evidence and following leads to identify a suspect in the death of a man near the I-17 corridor..
On January 5th, 2025, around 7:45 pm, officers were called to a shots fired call in the area of 28th Drive and Minnezona Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground, outside a home, suffering from a gunshot wound. There were multiple people in the area, but officers were told the suspect had left before they arrived.
Currently, no suspects have been detained; however, detectives are actively following leads.
