Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating an incident that claimed the life of a man and will lead to a woman being booked into jail.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on January 26, 2025, around 10:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of 13th Street and Bethany Home Road regarding an unknown trouble. When officers arrived, they located an adult female inside of a nearby apartment. Upon entering the apartment, an adult male was found with obvious signs of trauma. The man did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Homicide detectives have determined that the woman found at the apartment to be the suspect involved in the homicide of the man. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment for unrelated medical issues. Once medically cleared, the woman will be booked into jail for charges related to the homicide investigation.
The Department will not release the woman’s name until she is booked into jail.
