The Apache Junction Police Department officer injured in a shooting on Monday has been identified.
Officer Gabriel Facio, a three-year veteran of the department, was shot by 36-year-old Roger Nunez.
The Apache Junction Police Department posted on Facebook:
Officer Facio remains in critical condition. We are holding onto hope and standing beside him and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
